Wishful Thinking

I wish we could have a President who is not a career politician, not a Republican or a Democrat, and not owned by any special interests. I wish we could have a President who was a born Leader, who could rise above the politics and the media "white noise", head and shoulders above the fray of CNN or FOX. I wish we could have a President who had an unblemished character, whose rise to power didn't depend on the treasury chests of wealthy corporations. I wish we could have a President whose every move didn't depend on a right-wing base or a left-wing base. I wish we had a President that our children could truly look up to as a human being and a Leader, a President who could Unite our country and inspire our Youth, rather than divide it along party lines. I wish we could have a President who would inspire the Parents of today to be better Parents, rather than look for parenting solutions in Government. I wish we could have a President who would inspire us as citizens to become better stewards of the earth God has given us to live on. I wish we could have a President......
